Award-winning food producer Finnebrogue, based in Northern Ireland, has once again challenged itself; this time to develop a revolutionary new ‘sweet and savoury’ product line for Easter under its Better Naked brand.
Finnebrogue is launching two new chocolate and pork based products on Monday 3rd April – Better Naked Cream Egg Pork Sausages, 340g, rrp £3.50; and Better Naked Smoked Chocolate Rashers, 440g, rrp £3.50.
Both products are egg-pected to be a big hit at family breakfasts over the Easter weekend as big kids and little kids indulge in sweet treats post-lent, following their chocolate fast.
“The Crème-Egg-inspired pork sausages have a perfectly balanced amount of premium British pork, chocolate and crème-egg-inspired filling – all combined into a chocolate laced outer skin.
“Instead of reaching for a chocolate egg to get that sweet fix on Easter Sunday morning, we’re encouraging people to be healthier this year and reach for the grill pan instead!
“The new Smoked Chocolate Rashers are the perfect addition to an Ulster Fry or Full English over Easter. Infused with rich Belgian chocolate, each bite provides a salty sweet note on the tongue.
“The rashers carry the extra health benefit of being nitrite-free, while the sausages still remain gluten-free, as well as being egg-free and sugar-free. Both products remain free from artificial preservatives.”
“We were planning to launch the new products regionally, however, with support from the ‘big four’ retailers, customers can expect a nationwide roll out from 3rd April, just in time for Easter. We’re not yoking around.”
