NO GOBBLE PLANT-BASED TURKEY JOINT LAUNCHED FOR CHRISTMAS

Better Naked has launched a plant-based ‘no gobble’ turkey joint for Christmas.

Finnebrogue Artisan has announced the launch of its first plant-based Christmas turkey joint under its Better Naked brand.

The Better Naked turkey joint ‘without the gobble’ is a stuffed turkey-inspired joint made from wheat and pea protein. It is high in fibre, low in saturated fat and a source of protein.

The British public consume around 10 million turkeys every year at Christmas and eighty-seven per cent of them believe that Christmas would not be the same without a traditional roast turkey for lunch.

Finnebrogue has launched a plant-based version of the festive favourite, ticking all the right boxes for a tasty Christmas centre of plate, just without the meat.

Barbara Mullan, Finnebrogue’s NPD manager, claims that each mouthful of Better Naked Without the Gobble Turkey is bursting with succulence and Christmas flavour.

“Everyone loves a good stuffing at Christmas. So we’ve combined sweet cranberries, earthy mushrooms and seasonal chestnuts to generously fill the joint.

“The red onion confit with its cloves and cinnamon, together with the sprig of fragrant rosemary on top, provide an enjoyable festive aroma during cooking.”

Better Naked turkey joint ‘without the gobble’ is produced at Finnebrogue’s state of the plant-based factory in Northern Ireland.

It is sold exclusively at Waitrose for a limited time period, from 14^th December, while stocks last.

Each joint contains 4 servings (125g uncooked), £7.00. Product can be frozen. Defrost thoroughly before cooking.
