Ingredients

  • Better Naked Spicy Bean Burger
  • 2 English muffins
  • 2 free range eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Ketchup / sauce [optional]
  • Better Naked Without the Oink Rashers

Method

  • Homemade vegetarian fakeaway breakfast muffin using Better Naked Spicy Bean Burger (cut into four and made into patties), poached egg and sliced cheese. Weekend breakfast treat!

    To create this yummy vegetarian fakeaway breakfast muffin, firstly slice your fresh muffin into two, add a slice of cheese to each slice and place under a hot grill until lightly melted.

    Separately, cut the into four and mould the Better Naked Spicy Bean Burgers into thin circular patties of 10cm diameter and fry in a hot pan with a little oil – 4-5 mins each side.

    Fry or poach an egg.

    Build your vegetarian fakeaway breakfast muffin with a grilled cheese muffin base followed by a pattie, then egg, add red or brown sauce and finally top with a grilled cheese muffin top.

    **Optional** – Top with Better Naked rashers

    Serve warm for a tasty fakeaway breakfast!

  • For a meaty option:

    Substitute Better Naked Spicy Bean Burger with Better Naked Pork Sausages. Split the skin and mould the sausage meat into a pattie. Pan fry the pattie until cooked through.
