Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • Pack of Naked Ham
  • Puff pastry, ready-rolled
  • Cheddar cheese, grated
  • Egg or milk wash
  • Pesto (optional)

Method

  • Quick and easy recipe for homemade pinwheels. Perfect lunchbox or picnic food. All you need is ready-rolled puff pastry, Naked Ham and cheddar cheese.

     

    Firstly, roll out the puff pastry sheet. One sheet will make around 6 pinwheels.

     

    Next, layer the pastry sheet with slices of Naked Ham, followed by grated cheddar cheese.
    Roll up the pastry (from short end) into a large sausage roll shape, then using a sharp knife, slice up your pinwheels (about half a thumb nail thickness)

     

    Brush with egg or milk wash, and bake in the oven at 180C until raised and browned.

     

  • For meatfree alternative

    Spread a thin layer of pesto on the pastry before layering with Naked Without the Oink Bacon (cooked and cut into pieces) and vegan cheese.
