Red pepper and chilli taco dog

Ingredients

  • Pack of Better Naked Sausages
  • 1 jar Better Naked Southern Fried Mayo
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • Half bag of rocket
  • Handful of coriander, chopped
  • 1 chilli, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Finger bread rolls

Method

  • Get a load of this chilli taco dog using gluten-free pork sausages, roast chilli and peppers, crispy tobacco onions and Better Naked Southern Fried taco mayo! They’re hot and tangy and perfect bbq food. Easy to pull together using leftover peppers, onions and garlic.

     

    To make 6 chilli taco dogs, oven bake, bbq or grill 1 pack of Better Naked Sausages, which are gluten-free and preservative-free. Cook until they are golden brown.

    Pan fry the onions in a drizzle of olive oil,  and season with salt and pepper. Fry until the onions are crispy and brown. Set aside in a bowl until ready to use.

    In the same pan, add a drizzle of olive oil – then fry the garlic and chilli for 1 min.

    Next add the sliced red peppers and cook until soft. season as desired. Set aside in a bowl until ready to use.

     

    To serve: drizzle Better Naked Southern Fried Mayo in each finger roll, add some rocket, then one sausage.

    Dress each dog with another drizzle of mayo, top with red peppers and chilli, and a sprinkle of crispy onions. Add some chopped coriander to finish (optional).
